| Ramadhan Kareem

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious of All. Alhamdulillah, it getting near to fajr, and after a few minutes of time, it will be the seventh day of Ramadhan. Wait, seventh day of Ramadhan? Oh man :'( I have been wanting to write a travelog of Ramadhan since I am going through it here, in Egypt. Frankly speaking, fasting here is a bless, especially waiting for the tarawih prayers, you just can't get more excited then to perform the prayers. And to think that my delay, has caught me by surprise since its been a week already, fasting here. And too many things have happened, not to mention with some of them returning back to Malaysia for the summer holidays, some going off to the Holy Land and a list of  a whole bunch of many places on earth. Which I must say, I am glad to say that, I am still here in Alexandria. Tak terlalu lambat untuk  mula kan? The Ramadhan started of incredibly awesome.I didn't eat like a king during sahoor nor during iftar, and managed to p...

Bags are packed, the floor is full with boxes of books spilling all over, souvenirs are stuffed in luggages, clothes are piled on top of each other making the room nearly upside down. Everyone is excited to go back home. And everyone has to clear the place, leaving batul talibah, leaving the MARA residential house for good. Bait At-talibah, No.17 sezostris streets, Mahattah Raml, Alexandria. Tomorrow, from twenty one girls, only eleven will be left behind, to carry on the Ramadhan mission in Alexandria,to count the days before returning, while nearly half of us will be boarding the plane back to tanah airku yang tercinta! After nearly 10 months here, words cannot describe the tranquility feeling, living here in Egypt,to be specific, Alexandria. You've got to live through it to feel it,thus the key to lead a happy life. If people ask, why on earth choose Egypt in the first place, isn't there any other else in the world that is much better? I can't answer techni...

| pre emptive strike of the real war

With a nonchalant expression, I'm utterly bashing my eyelashes, not because I am trying to look all sweet and girlish but simply because I'm sleepy. Yawning Yet, I continue to stare at the blank page in front of me, a screen of an electronic device used by people of all sorts of ages. A minute ago my mind was enchanting loads of stuff it nearly made my brain explode because I really wanted to spill it all here, but the moment I'm about to write it down, everything goes away, like writings that are written on sand, the moment you are just about to read about it,the ocean washes it all off. Just great. But what I do realise is  that the clock is continuously ticking and time can just go pass by without even caring that you are left behind or what. And that is exactly how I feel now. So, here comes the point where I go ranting about a bunch of final exams, to be coming just around the corner, and yes there is LESS time to be laying my back down and having a sip of...
By the end of the day, it is all about a bouquet of gratitude , Thank you Allah

| Incoming call

DEATH IS KNOCKING ON THE DOOR: Death is an inevitable end for all of us. However, this life is merely the beginning. We are living a trial, an exam that has two outcomes, failure or success. How could the soul not give pause to the call, the call of worship to its Creator? To Allah, the most Merciful, the most Forgiving? Or to the beauty of the first bird's call just before Fajr--the call that a wakes every soul to the worship of Allah? It is depressing to ponder upon our sins and our ungratefulness. However, if we remember Allah (swt) in everything we do, then InshaAllah our death will lead to success into Jannat Al-Firdaws. "Those who remember Allah, standing, sitting, and lying on their sides, and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth: "O Lord, You have not created this for nothing. Glory be to you! So safeguard us from the punishment of the fire." (Surat Al-Imran: 191) الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَى جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَ...

| Epic speech

Did you ever imagine, the least thing that you ever expected was Allah answering your inner conflicts in the sweetest way ever. In the midst of me trying to see positive impact on this thing , He answered it. Aisha (ra) again says: "He spoke in such a way that the words were spaced out so that those who sat with him remembered them." #this was the mentioned by San Muqaddim in his opening speech.Epic speech ever! The formula was simple,in whatever action we do,if it follows the sunnah,we get rewards. And even by talking,a simple action,we get rewards because we follow his sunnah. So I was touched to the fullest by his speech simply because I didn't open my heart to that extent in order to feel such legendary feelings. The feeling of doing his sunnah. Alhamdulillah, I got it back. Again, such beautiful sayings ; "They said: 'The Messenger of Allah used to talk little and every thing was expressed in this brief talk. In his speech, there ...

| The very thing

status quo : the ummah is in need of help Yes I know,we have no time to talk over petty matters. We have no time to take into consideration things that won't help in rising the ummah, that won't lead to ustaziatul alam. Sometimes,I think.my posts are merely post of emotions and what I feel,I salute my akhawats who write posts that are 'haraki' and should be about boostering us to serve the ummah since the ummah is  very critical. Look around us, how can we sit down and have a cup of coffee when we still don't have a khalifah,How can we sit back and relax when muslims are only islams on identification cards instead of their hearts,How can talk about furu' when the wajib is forgotten? A big fat question mark right here,on my very own face. And so I regret of me entering this very thing ,regret but trying to find a positive thought on this particular thing . Oh Allah, forgive me if my niyah at first was not because of You,can I renew my niyah to make this ...
